Cork Tiles

Of all the possibilities, why cork tiles for your flooring? Well, there are many benefits of using cork tiles. Not only is cork flooring beneficial for you, it’s also beneficial for the world—really.

For one, cork tiles are easily regenerated because only the bark from trees are peeled to make the cork. This means, the trees can keep on living and can continually be harvested for the bark only, not the whole tree. If you’re not one of those people who worries too much about the earth (although it’d be good to), there’s still plenty of benefits that cork tiles can do for you.

What are other reasons cork flooring is a reasonable buy? Well, they’re healthy for you—physically, especially if you have arthritis or other joint problems. As cork is quite resilient, it’s easy on your joints and the cork tile itself can easily recover to its original shape after an impact (which in turn makes it lasting).

Cork tiles are also great for busy houses as they’re able to withstand a lot of tarnishing and they’re great protection against liquids (in which case, they can also be used as coasters!). Not only that, cork flooring is also very convenient in terms of cleaning as they don’t attract dust and can easily be put to cleanliness with a mop or vacuum. Their dust attracting ability will be sure to please you as it’ll have you and your family breathing easier and in much better lung shape. Cork flooring is also beneficial in loud or cold weather as it’s a natural insulation system, both for thermal insulation and noise insulation. One last reason to install cork tiles?  Well, they're also quite inexpensive! For flooring that has it all, cork is certainly the best route to take.
